This programme will qualify you to be a practitioner for children between the ages of 0-6 whereby you will equip them socially, physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and morally to ensure that they reach their full potential.
Career Options
- Establish your own nursery school
- Grade R Educator
Certification
Level 4 (1st Year): Certificate
Level 5 (2nd Year): Higher Certificate
Level 6 (3rd Year): Diploma in Early Childhood Development
Duration
- 1 Year per level. (1-3 Years total)
- The year comprises of theory classes that need to be attended.
- Workplace experience and assessments during working hours.

DHET TVET COLLEGES BURSARY SCHEME

The Department of Higher Education and Training makes provision for a bursary fund per TVET college in order facilitate optimum access for financially needy and academically deserving students. When allocating funds to students, compliance to DHET Bursary Administration Guidelines, is imperative. The DHET has appointed The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) as the administrators of these funds.
